Gertrude Obray Leishman, 79, of Wellsville, died Wednesday, December 5, 1990, in Logan, Utah.
She was born April 3, 1911 in Paradise, Utah, a daughter of Joseph Brenchley and Margaret Tams Obray. She married Reed Bradshaw Leishman, October 6, 1930 in Wellsville. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She and her husband celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary with a small family gathering, October 6, 1990.Survivors include her husband, Wellsville; seven sons and daughters, Gaylen and Arlene Jensen, Hyrum; Albern and Nedra Allen, Logan; Reed and Lois Leishman, Brigham City; Gary and Dixie Clawson, Hyrum; Roland and Ruth Leishman, Paradise; LaMar and Annette Leishman, Singapore; Seldon and Susan Leishman, Wellsville; 35 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline Summers, Paradise; Melba Baird, Lewiston, Utah. She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Obray Leishman, one brother and sister, one half-brother and three half-sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 12 Noon, in the Wellsville Stake Center, 30 South Center, Wellsville, with Bishop Bruce W. McCammon conducting. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan, 34 East Center, Friday evening 6:30-8:30 p.m. and at the Stake Center Saturday, 10-11:30 a.m. Interment: Wellsville Cemetery.
