The annual "Expanding Your Horizons" Conference Saturday, March 24, at Utah Valley Community College in Orem will promote a variety of career options in math, science and law for young women.

In addition to choosing from sessions on business, law, computer science, engineering and technology, food science, health and medicine and mathematics, conferencegoers will hear from keynote speaker, Genevieve Atwood, former director of the Utah Geological and Mineral Survey.Registration for the conference, which is supported by Geneva Steel and sponsored by the Utah Math/Science Network, will begin at 8 a.m. at the UVCC student center, and the conference will begin at 8:50 a.m. A $5 registration fee will cover the cost of all conference materials and lunch.
