A Key Bank branch in Ogden was held up Wednesday morning by a man who apparently fled to a nearby parking garage, changed his clothes and escaped.

The holdup occurred at 9:57 a.m., just after the bank opened, said Branch Manager David G. Moore. The robber entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money.Moore said it was too early to say how much money had been taken.

"The guy was probably a crackpot," Moore said. "Nobody walks in and robs banks like that any more."

Ogden Police Sgt. Wes Peterson said no one saw the man display a weapon.
