City officials anticipate no water restrictions in the coming year.
Bruce Chesnut, water/waste-water division manager, said levels of stored water in Deer Creek Reservoir seem to show that 100 percent of the water rights will be allocated this year. Storage in the reservoir is running 4 to 5 percent ahead of last year.Watershed areas are about 80 percent of normal, about equal to last year.
Officials imposed no water restrictions last year.
Chesnut said a long, dry, hot spell in the spring could alter the situation, however.
