The Vatican on Friday unveiled the multimillion dollar restoration, which allows visitors to view the artist's mammoth frescos in the Sistine Chapel vault as they were when freshly painted. Pope John Paul II will open the show "Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel," with the results of the restoration, Saturday at the Vatican.
