SHARE 15 TO RECEIVE SUSC HONOR MEDALLIONS

Southern Utah Honor Medallions will be awarded to 15 people during an afternoon awards ceremony planned in conjunction with Southern Utah State Founders' Day activities on Friday, March 9.

The fourth annual Southern Utah Honors Award Ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Great Hall and is open to the public. The awards honor recipients for their contributions to their communities and to the state of Utah. Activities continue at 6:30 p.m. with the annual Founders' Day Banquet and a dinner concert featuring Utah soprano Billie Loukas.Recipients of the 1990 Citizens awards are: Ella W. Adair, Tropic; Calvin Black, Blanding; Walter S. Brooks, St. George; Joe Houston, Kanab; Oscar Jones Hulet, Summit; Roma Jarvis Knight, Paragonah; Rosemary Lee, Hurricane; and Louise Liston, Escalante.

Others to be honored are: LaVar Stewart, Gunnison; Karl Iver Truman, Minersville; Roy P. Urie, Cedar City; Dewain C. Washburn, Monroe; G. Murray Webb, St. George; Gerald C. Wood, Cedar City; and Carol A. Wright, Parowan.

Banquet tickets are $10 and are available from Alumni Council members.
