One man has been apprehended in connection with an aggravated robbery at a Salt Lake convenience store.
Two men walked into a convenience store at 508 E. 300 South about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday and asked the clerk if he would let them buy some beer.The clerk told the men it was too late. Shortly after, one of the men grabbed onto the clerk's clothing and put a knife to his abdomen.
The clerk then opened the tills as requested. The pair took the money from the tills along with seven packs of cigarettes. Neither the police report nor the convenience store indicated how much money was taken.
Shortly after the clerk reported the incident to the police, an officer saw a possible suspect whom the clerk identified as one of his assailants. The suspect was taken into custody.
