Minnie Malvina Suttie Tarbox, age 86, died April 15, 1990.

Malvina was born September 10, 1903, in Lynn, Massachusetts, a daughter of James Augustus and Ida Emeline Johnson Suttie. Married George Whittier Tarbox, December 22, 1923, in Lynn, Massachusetts; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. She attended schools in Lynn and graduated from business college while living there, prior to her marriage. She worked for the Salt Lake Laundry for a period of time but spent most of her life being a homemaker and mother, devoting herself to her family. She was an excellent pianist and organist and found great joy in her music. She moved with her husband and children from Massachusetts to Taylorsville in 1935. She was residing there at the time of her death and was an active member of the LDS Taylorsville First Ward.Surviving are: Her four sons, George W., Jr., Quinault, Washington; L. Russell, Barstow, California; Norman C., Taylorsville; Val S., Bountiful; brother, Valance R. Suttie, Palm Bay, Florida; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, Taylorsville First Ward, 1399 West 4800 So., where friends may call Thursday at the church, one hour prior. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, under the direction of McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home.
