George Adelbert Caldwell, 80, passed away April 16, 1990, in Salt Lake City.
Born May 21, 1909, in Roosevelt, Utah to George Wilding and Mary Olive Searle Caldwell. Married Elsine Pedersen August 12, 1929. She died December 15, 1981. Worked for B & G Railroad for ten years as a steam locomotive fireman, later retired as a boiler fireman from the U of U heating plant.Survived by: Son, Earl and Ruth Caldwell, Salt Lake City; daughters, Lois Munroe, Salt Lake City; Nancy and Preston Martineau, Maryland; grandchildren, Crae, Mark Caldwell, Gerald and Dana Munroe, Cheryl Brower, Clint and Carl Martineau; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Luwana Stevens. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cathy Caldwell.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 19, 1990, at 11 a.m., at the Mackay Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane. Friends may call at Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:45. Funeral directors, Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary.
