Cast auditions for the 1990 production of Utah Pageant of the Arts were a great success last weekend, said producing director David O. Brockbank, but a few good men are still needed.

To meet this need and also accommodate those who couldn't make the first audition, further auditions will be held Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pageant Center, 1225 E. Main, Lehi.A few adult men and older teenaged boys are needed to pose in "Rural Courtship," "Saying Grace," "Handcart Pioneers," "Protection," "Acteon and Diana," and "The Golden Urn." Three younger teen boys are needed to portray the figures in "The Bacchanale" and other art-works.

Volunteer cast members need no previous acting or performing experience, Brockbank said. Auditions involve being photographed and interviewed. This year the roles will be double cast, with each performer appearing from June 18-July 3 or July 5-July 21. There will be no performances on Sundays or July 4.
