Her four children from three marriages at her hospital bedside, a pneumonia-stricken Elizabeth Taylor is showing "the very slightest bit of improvement," her doctor says.
"It's the most sick she's been under my care," Dr. Michael Roth, a longtime friend and Taylor's physician for 10 years, said Tuesday. The 58-year-old actress has been hospitalized more than two weeks. She has been in the intensive care unit at St. Johns Hospital and Health Center since Friday.
Roth said Taylor was "certainly stable for the moment with the very slightest bit of improvement."
Taylor was receiving medication intravenously, her breathing is aided by a ventilator and "her spirits are good," Roth said.
