A West Jordan High School senior remained in critical condition Wednesday at LDS Hospital with injuries received Tuesday in a truck-motorcycle accident.

Ryan Fratto, 17, West Jordan, was injured about 12:45 p.m. in front of the high school at 8065 S. 2700 West. The student was struck as he exited to head south out of the parking lot, apparently entered the wrong lane and collided with a northbound truck driven by a 16-year-old student, said West Jordan police officer Brian Morris. He was then flown by helicopter to LDS Hospital, where he remained in "extremely critical" condition Wednesday, a spokesman said.

Witnesses said Fratto had borrowed the motorcycle from a friend. He was not wearing a helmet and did not have a motorcycle license, the officer said.
