SHARE ANDERSON LUMBER OPENS CENTER IN NORTH LAS VEGAS

Anderson Lumber Co., which maintains its corporate office in Ogden, has opened a large building material center and truss plant in North Las Vegas, Nev., bringing to 21 the number of building material centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada.

James C. Beardall, president and chief executive officer, said the opening coincides with the company's 100th anniversary celebration and is Anderson's first building material center in Nevada.The 16-acre site contains a large contractor lumber yard and a truss plant. The site has a 700-foot railroad spur that allows unloading of seven train carloads of lumber at the same time.
