SHARE GREEN ISLE DEVELOPMENT BUYS RIVERTON PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER

Green Isle Development of Southern California has purchased the Riv-erton Plaza Shopping Center at 12600 S. Redwood Road from First Security Mortgage.

Phil and Peggy Holland, principals in Green Isle Development, were represented in the transaction by Pat Smith of Hollywood, Calif., and Mac Brubaker of Tate/Brubaker Real Estate Services, represented First Security Mortgage.Holland plans to expand the existing tenants and build an additional 15,000 square-feet of leasable space. Smith will move to Utah to supervise the leasing and expansion.

The Hollands are owners and developers of shopping centers in Bakersfield, Porterville, Victorville and San Bernardino and are developing new projects in Bakersfield and Hemet. In 1971, Holland founded the Yum Yum Donut Shops Inc., which became the largest chain of privately held doughnut shops in the country.
