Loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Olive Frances Johnson Ryver, 76, passed on peacefully April 1, 1990 at her home in Murray.

Born December 3, 1913 in Spanish Fork, Utah, the daughter of Orville L. and Isabell Ruth Pratt Johnson. Married Joseph Fielding Ryver, April 2, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a visiting teacher for 20 years. She was a humanitarian, kind-hearted, always willing to help; a homemaker, all-around good cook, a horticulturist who gardened and canned her own fruits and vegetables. She was a candy maker, accomplished seamstress; avid reader; she enjoyed singing and the arts. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.Survived by her husband, Joe Ryver, Murray; two daughters, Mrs. Gary H. (Joy) Bain, Mrs. David Deane (O.Kay) Harmon, both Salt Lake; son, Orville J. Ryver and wife Carolyn, Bountiful; five granddaughters, Leita Bain, Darla Bain, Geri Lynn Bain Allred; Terrisa Ann Ryver; Shellie Ryver Stock; grandson, Bret J Ryver and one great-granddaughter, Tesha Stock.

Graveside Services Thursday, April 5, 2 p.m., in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Wednesday, April 4, 6-8 p.m.
