Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, John Wozab, 84, passed away April 3, 1990 in a local care center.

Born October 26, 1905 in Baltimore, Maryland to Anton and Theresa Ehler Wozab. He married Velma Elizabeth White April 30, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Before retirement, he was a lithographer for the Deseret News Press. He received the Craftsman of the Year Award in 1965 and the Craftsmanship Distinctive Service Award in 1975. He held many church positions including Councilor in the 25th Ward Bishopric and High Councilman in the Pioneer Stake.

John is survived by his wife, Velma; daughters, V.C. "Rusty" Salmon, Salt Lake City; Vicki Lynn McPheeters, Centerville seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Harvey, Theresa Loertscher, Ann Freund, Mary Fox and sister-in-law, Mildred Peterson Wozab. Preceded in death by a son, John David, parents, Anton and Theresa Wozab, brothers, Anton Joseph Wozab and Frances Karl Wozab.

Funeral services Friday April 6, 12 noon, Salt Lake Olympus Stake Center, 2675 East 4430 South. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and at the church Friday, 10:45-11:45. Interment, Wasatch Lawn.
