Margaret Barton Harris, 77, passed away at her home in Logan on Tuesday, May 8, 1990 from complications due to intestinal cancer.
She was born April 3, 1913, a daughter of S. Fletcher and Lelia Farnsworth Barton in Greenville, Utah. She married L. Everett Harris on March 5, 1937 in Parowan, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 28, 1944.Survivors are her husband, L. Everett Harris, Logan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip E. and Jeniel Harris, Woodland Park, CO; Joseph B. and Carolyn Harris, Logan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Ann and Eric Southworth, Auburn, CA; Lelia Jean and Brad Allred, Brigham City; one brother, Stephen F. Barton, Kalamazoo, MI; one sister, Esther Jacka, Las Vegas, NV, 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the Logan 1st Ward Chapel (200 West 100 South) with Bishop Jay Schvaneveldt conducting. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
