Harold Sharp, 94, died May 10, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born July 1, 1895 in Salt Lake City, son of Lorenzo and Esther Rebbecca Bacon Sharp. He was a WW II Veteran, played in the Military Army Band. He was an accomplished trumpeter and had played in his younger years with Vaudeville groups, the Utah Symphony, and the Strong Military Band. Retired from UP&L Co. after 45 years of service.Survived by two sons, Harold L. Sharp, Salt Lake City; Robert D. Sharp, California; daughter, Janet Virginia Baer, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marjorie Dobson. Funeral services 11 a.m., Monday, May 14, Evans & Early Mortuary Chapel, 574 East 1st South, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn.
