Two national experts on sex education will speak Wednesday on how to effectively teach sexual abstinence to teenagers.

Pat Socia, national consultant for "Project Respect," and Stan Weed, from the Institute of Research and Evaluation, will present "Teach True Abstinence Sex Education: A Directive-Effective Approach" at a workshop sponsored by the Davis County Council on Infants, Children and Youth.The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Benchmark Regional Hospital, 592 W. 1350 South, Woods Cross, and is open to anyone. Cost is $25, which includes manuals and lunch.
