Marilyn Jenson Temple, loving wife, mother and grandmother died Tuesday, May 1, 1990, in Salt Lake City of natural causes.
Born in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Hyrum Eugene and Gertrude Scheller Jenson. She graduated from East High School and attended the University of Utah. Her many friends and relatives remember her vivacious and fun-loving personality as well as her devotion to her husband, Craig Temple, and children. Lived 25 years in Silver Spring, Maryland, until her husband retired in 1985 and they returned to reside in Holladay. Her happiest times were when she was raising her family, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and playing golf. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Survivors include her husband, Midvale; four daughters, Saundra Hadlock, Orem; Carolyn Robertson, Silver Spring, Maryland; Lori Blatter, American Canyon, California; Robyn Pearson, Bear River City, Utah; brother Robert (Bud) Jenson, Palo Alto, California; sister, Daryl Healy, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren.
Funeral service Friday, 2 p.m., Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Friday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 543 E. 500 South #19, SLC 84102.
