One of three men accused of plotting to bomb several minority businesses helped detonate a test pipe bomb in April near the headquarters of the white supremacist Aryan Nations church, an FBI agent testified.
"Think of what this would do to a room full of people," the man said during the test, the agent testified.A government informant wearing a microphone secretly taped the April 14 conversation, agent Richard Wold of the FBI's Coeur d'Alene office said in court Wednesday.
The government contends Proctor James Baker, 57, of Coeur d'Alene, was among three men who plotted to bomb minority businesses in western Washington. Baker was ordered held without bail.
