"Pretty Woman" was No. 1 for the third consecutive weekend in the national box-office tally, entering the $100 million club along with Oscar-winning "Driving Miss Daisy."

"Pretty Woman" earned almost $7.6 million last weekend, followed by "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" with $3.7 million and "Tales from the Darkside" in third place with $2.9 million.May is considered one of the flattest times of the year in the movie business, with weekends filled with high school proms, graduation parties and commencements.

Disney's Touchstone Pictures said "Pretty Woman" had reached the $100 million level as quickly as "Three Men and a Baby," in just 52 days of domestic release.

It took longer for "Driving Miss Daisy" to make the grade, 22 weeks into release. The movie got a boost when it won best picture and best actress Oscars at the Academy Awards in March.
