Sharon Wilcox McMillan, loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away May 18, 1990, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Sharon was born April 19, 1957 to Blaine A. and Genevieve Wilcox. She was a blessed gift to their home. Sharon attended Oquirrh Hill Elementary School, Kearns Jr. High and graduated from Kearns High in 1977. In 1981 she graduated from BYU with a nursing degree. She was working at the Pediatric Center, Cottonwood Hospital. Sharon loved her husband and her three darling children. She loved life and enjoyed helping those less fortunate than herself. She will always be remembered for her free spirit and her unique personality. She loved the Lord and much of her life was spent serving Him in various capacities. She loved outdoor activities, art, music and gardening. She also loved books, reading to, and teaching her children. She married Bryce R. McMillan, April 29, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. Their children are Benjamin 7, Jenna 4, and Adam 2.She is survived by her husband, children, parents, five brothers and special sisters, who loved her dearly, Rick and JoAnn, Doug and Claudia, Jim and Connie, Steven and Char, Brian and Wendy. Also 34 nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, Utah. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, May 22, in the Bennion East Stake Center, 6000 South 1300 West, Bennion, Utah, where friends may call 11-11:45 a.m. Burial will be at the Murray City Cemetery.
