Orem's Doug Padilla and Bountiful's Ed Eyestone each finished third in running events over the weekend. Padilla took third place in the Jack in the Box Invitational track and field meet at UCLA's Drake Stadium in the mile run Sunday. His time was 3:57.42, 1:20 behind winner Joe Falcon of Asics Tiger. Eyestone took third in the 10-kilometer run at the 13th Revco-Cleveland races Sunday in Cleveland. His time of 28:57 was :15 behind winner Yobes Ondieki of Kenya.
