Stanton Randall Gerrard died May 22, 1990 in a Salt Lake hospital.

Born December 24, 1922 in Salt Lake City to William Smith and Emily Randall Gerrard. Married Fern Tycksen. Graduate of Granite High School. Veteran of World War II, U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Murray City Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He was a Master Electrician, Member of Local 354, IBEW for 40 years.Survived by wife, Murray; sons, Randy, Thomas Stanton and wife Beth; daughter Rosanne Murray and her husband Scott; nine grandchildren; brother Ralph, Albuquerque. Family extends their deepest gratitude to the entire staff of the Salt Lake Veteran's Medical Center for their compassion and care, especially the dialysis staff.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, one hour prior to service. Interment Murray City Cemetery. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to: National Kidney Foundation of Utah, 3707 No. Canyon Road, Suite G8, Provo, Ut. 84604.
