Our loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandson, Douglas Paul Millerberg, left us suddenly and unexpectedly on May 22, 1990 of natural causes at his home in West Valley City.
Doug was born January 11, 1952 in Murray, Utah. He was the son of Arthur A. and Marion Bird Millerberg. He grew up in East Midvale, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest High School with the class of 1970. He attended the University of Utah and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He graduated from the University of the Phillipines in 1976. He married Deborah Sue Dittmar at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Newcomerstown, Ohio, on September 29, 1974. He was employed as an architect for the Building and Grounds Dept. of the Salt Lake City School District.Doug's wonderful habit of making people happy will be missed by those of us who love him: His wife Debby; his sons, Nathan, age 6, Jason, age 3, and Matthew, age 2; his parents, Art and Marion; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beverly Dittmar and Charles Dittmar; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Bill Morley of Bloomington, Indiana; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Tami Millerberg, Murray, Utah; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bird of Midvale, Utah; also nieces and nephews in Murray, Indiana, Ohio, and Japan.
Memorial services will be held honoring Doug on Saturday, May 26, 1990, at 1 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where a viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the services.
Burial, Midvale City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to a trust fund for the children c/o Deborah S. Millerberg at Zions First National Bank, Granger Branch.
