The University of Wyoming's Centennial Singers will be featured in a musical revue Monday, May 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Delta High School auditorium.

The troupe will perform a musical entitled "Wyoming Fever," which salutes the music of one of America's greatest composers, Irving Berlin.Bruce Bishop, director of the troupe and a Delta High School graduate, said the Centennial Singers were designated by Wyoming Gov. Mike Sullivan as the state's "goodwill ambassadors" to generate pride in their state and extend friendliness and goodwill to people in other Western states. Wyoming is celebrating its 100th anniversary of statehood this year.

The group was started as a temporary project but is now a permanent part of the university's music department, Bishop said. Members have traveled more than 20,000 miles and performed for about 90,000 people since the group was organized in 1986.
