Summer hasn't even arrived yet, but already Mona Town officials are worried about water.

Culinary water levels are lower than usual for this time of year, and Mona residents may face shortages unless they are careful now."If Mona residents will conserve on water right now we may not have to curtail usage," said Mayor Greg Newton.

Water levels have not yet reached a critical point, but the level is much lower this year than it was last year at the same time. Last year residents had to ration water and adopt an outside watering schedule.
