Former NASA director James C. Fletcher will be Westminster College's commencement speaker at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 2.

Fletcher, a distinguished public service professor at the University of Pittsburgh, will speak on "Technology and Man: The Next Generation" at the Dane Hansen Memorial Stadium. He will also receive an honorary doctor of science degree.The college's 115th commencement will graduate its largest class, 295 students. Westminster President Charles H. Dick will preside over the event.

Robert G. Warnock, biology professor since 1963, will receive the rank of professor emeritus plus an honorary doctor of science degree. The distinguished service award will go posthumously to the late Glade Peterson for his work in strengthening Westminster's music program.
