S.L. MAN NAMED AUTOMOTIVE TEACHER OF YEAR

SHARE S.L. MAN NAMED AUTOMOTIVE TEACHER OF YEAR

Rand Perrier, Salt Lake City, has been selected the Utah Automotive Teacher of the Year by Valvoline Inc. He will represent the state in a national competition.

Perrier teaches in Cottonwood High School. He sponsored a team of students who won the Utah finals of the Plymouth/AAA Trouble Shooting Contest. The students, Alan Wheelwright and Daniel Gibson, will participate in national contests June 18 in Washington D.C. Valvoline has had a program to reward outstanding automotive teachers since 1949.
