Broadcast International Inc., 19 W. South Temple, earned $66,707 on net income on revenue of $2 million for the quarter ending March 31, a 42 percent increase over the same quarter a year ago, according to Dwight Egan, president.
The growth resulted from increasing billable installations by 16 percent over the comparable 1989 quarter and from an increase in third-party activity, Egan said. The decrease in first quarter earnings from 1989 to 1990 reflects a plan to accelerate growth though more aggressive marketing and an expanded installation and service capability.BI provides satellite-delivered business information and network services including background music, point-of-purchase advertising, high-speed data transmission, video and audio conferencing and satellite installation and maintenance services.
