Edith Emery Rich Duncombe, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend to us all, died May 23, 1990.
Born September 13, 1915 in Salt Lake City to Edith Love Emery Rich and Edwin E. Rich, Jr. Married Glenn `Bus' Duncombe June 29, 1935; he preceded her in death.Survived by sons, Dennis, David, and Dean; daughters, Donna Oar Meadows, Diane Brady, Darla Leatham Rice, and Debbie Stapley, all Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Chloris Lee. Preceded in death by daughter, Dixie Ann Duncombe, great-grandson, Trevor Michael Fisher; her parents; brothers, Edwin, Howard, David, Maurice, Frank, and George; sisters, Mary Rich and Eleanor Turner.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2 p.m., MacKay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral directors, MacKay Deseret Mortuary.
