Inez Alina Bartell Eastman Nolen, age 77, died May 23, 1990.
She was born May 6, 1913 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Jacob (Jack) Edward and Alina Backlund Bartell. She married Edvin Leonard Eastman in Ogden, Utah on September 21, 1934. Edvin preceded her in death in September 1943. She married Earnest E. Nolen in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 2, 1944. Earnest preceded her in death on March 19, 1990. Inez was a member of the Lutheran Church. She graduated from Bingham High School in 1930. For many years, she was the Secretary-Treasurer for the Order of Runeberg, Lodge #113. She also helped her husband manage trailer courts.Survivors: children, Mrs. John W. (Sonja) Smith, Mill Creek, Washington; Eric Edward Eastman and his wife, Sybil, Piedmont, South Carolina; Mrs. Harris B. (Linda E.) Salisbury, Murray; grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Smith, Tad Michael Smith, both Everett, Washington; Eric Edward Eastman, Jr., Charles Kevin Eastman, both Piedmont, South Carolina; five great-grandchildren in Washington; sister, Helen Marie Johnston, Riverton. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ellen Adine Bartell, Sylvia Elizabeth Antell Parry; brother, Roy Edward Bartell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 1990, at 1:00 P.M. in the Redwood Memorial Estates Chapel, 6500 South 1700 West, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Goff Mortuary, Funeral Directors.
