Harold J. "Hal" O'Very, 65, died at home May 23, 1990.
He was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, June 29, 1924, the son of Margaret and James O'Very. Married Carol Parkin, November 28, 1947; later divorced. Married Nancy Pitkin, July 17, 1982. He served in the Army Air Corp. during World War II. He was in the automobile business in Salt Lake City most of his life and was a school crossing guard at the time of his death.He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children from first marriage, two sons and three daughters, Barry A. O'Very, Hal D. O'Very, Traci O'Very Covey, all Salt Lake City; Paula O'Very and Laura O'Very, both living in Hawaii; sister, Margaret Schairer, El Paso, Texas; ten grandchildren. He will be missed by family and friends.
Memorial services to be held at Southeast Baptist Church, 1700 East 7000 South, 12 Noon, Tuesday.
