Leila Reeves Taylor, age 85, died May 24, 1990 while hospitalized in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born October 1, 1904 in Salt Lake City to Edgar H. and Nellie Rogers Reeves. Married Merrill Curtis Taylor on July 6, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Leila retired as an elementary school teacher from the Granite School District in Salt Lake City after 26 years.She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Diane T. Milne; and a son, Stanford M. Taylor, all of Afton, Wyoming; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Alma V. (Rosalind) Decker and Benita Lang, both of Salt Lake City; and Marjorie Walker of Sacramento, California. Preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond; and a sister, Sybil.

Funeral services on Wednesday, May 30th, at 12 noon, in the Osmond-Smoot-Fairview Ward, Afton, Wyoming, where friends may call the hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Afton City Cemetery under the direction of Schwab Mortuary
