Ruth Kendell Craig, 85, died Friday, May 25, 1990 in a Bountiful nursing home.

Born April 20, 1905 in Uintah, Weber County, Utah, a daughter of Timothy and Sarah Ann Prophet Kendell. Married Olene W. Craig, April 29, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Olene died October 7, 1947. Married George Alma Webster, June 6, 1955. He died November 16, 1981. Ruth had lived in Layton, Utah since her marriage in 1925. Member of the Layton, Utah LDS 1st and 11th wards, actively serving in various callings, as a Sunday School and Primary teacher, organist in Sunday School, member of the Stake Geneology Board, and as a Relief Society Visiting Teacher for over 60 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Wasatch (Utah) Pioneers, Mt. View Camp. She had worked as a sales clerk in retail stores in Layton and Kaysville.Ruth is survived by one son, two daughters, and one brother, Harris O. Craig, Bountiful; Mrs. Norman C. (Faye) Hansen, Syracuse, Utah; Audean Clark, Layton; Elwood Kendell, Ogden, Utah. Grandmother to 14 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main St., where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
