Vernetta Reynolds Stillman Chegwidden, 87, passed away May 1, 1990, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born September 18, 1902, Murray, Utah, to Charles R. and Louise Park Brockbank Reynolds. Married John Stillman, August 6, 1929; he died in December, 1955. Married Russell G. Chegwidden, September 6, 1960; he passed away in November, 1966. Active member of the L.D.S. Church, she has served in many positions over the years. She was our dear sweet mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and her passing will leave a great void in our lives.Survivors include a son, Charles F. (wife Raquel) Stillman; three granddaughters, JoLynda Stillman (her child, Molly), Kelli Kammerer (her children, Kathryn and Jonathon), all Salt Lake City; and Michele Stillman, Denver. Also surviving are two brothers, Owen and Jay; and a sister, Hazel Pierson. Preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5th, 1:30 p.m., at the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 Fisher Lane (2935 South), with Bishop Eugene King officiating. Friends may call Friday evening, 6-7 p.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the ward on Saturday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: the Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
