Schools across the state are getting ready to close their doors _ or have done so already. Davis and Murray school districts are closing their doors Thursday, while Granite and Jordan districts will end classes June 8. Students in Salt Lake district will go until June 7. In Utah County, Provo and Nebo district schools closed last week. Friday is the last day of school for Alpine students. Ogden district is ending classes Thursday. Weber and Cache schools will close Friday. Many of the rural school districts ended classes last week. The first district to close was Uintah on May 23. Several other rural districts will end classes June 8. The year-round schools are on different schedules, with one track ending in June and another beginning in mid-July.
