-Josephine Brewer, who will become president of Utah's Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary this June, joined 180 VFW leaders from around the nation recently at a training conference in Kansas City. Brewer has been serving as senior vice president in the Utah, one of 7,087 national auxiliary chapters.
-Bradley Johnson, an Aurora, Sevier County, cattleman, recently participated in an Industry Information Committee meeting of the Beef Promotion and Research Board in Dallas, Texas. Johnson serves on the 113-member Beef Board and on the board's information committee.
-The Foundation for Hospice and Homecare, a national service organization that works on behalf of the dying, disabled and disadvantaged, has named Don W. Wortley president. Wortley is also president of the Salt Lake City-based IHC Therapy Management, a subsidiary of Intermountain Health Care.
