A discussion on John Steinbeck's "Grapes of Wrath" and a saddlemaking demonstration are being offered in conjunction with the "Trails Through Time" exhibit now on display at the Utah State Historical Society building, 300 Rio Grande (455 West).
On Saturday, June 2, Glen Thompson will be demonstrating his skills from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thompson is owner of Thompson Saddlery in Huntsville, and has been involved with saddlemaking for 33 years.On Tuesday, June 5, F. Alan Coombs will lead a discussion on Steinbeck's work.
Both offerings are free to the public. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 433-5755.
