Heber Ranger District officials have announced plans for summer campfire programs at Strawberry Bay Campground. Programs will be held each weekend throughout the summer.

Guest speakers this weekend are Dr. Clark G. Christensen and Ray Remund. Christensen is with the Astronomy Department at Brigham Young University and will present a "Star Show" on Friday, June 15, at 9:15 p.m. He will identify the wonders of the sky and will have a telescope available to view the stars.Ray Remund is the education and information manager with the Division of Wildlife Resources. He is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, at 9:15 p.m. He will identify wildlife species in Strawberry Valley.

The temporary amphitheater is located at the upper-day use area across from loop G at Strawberry Bay Campground. All programs are subject to change. A chair and blanket or a warm jacket should be brought to all programs.

Programs will be held at the Strawberry Bay Marina Cafe in case of inclement weather. They are free to the public.
