DEATH: LEATH ALVIN RASMUSSEN

Beloved father, grandfather and brother, Leath Alvin Rasmussen, age 79, died June 15, 1990 in Salt Lake City.

Born April 4, 1911 in Salina, Utah, a son of Ira Alvin and Dee Larsen Rasmussen. Married Ann LaFaye Jensen, July 16, 1930, in the Manti Temple. Member of the LDS Church. Member of the Salina Lion's Club and served as Club President. Member of the Sevier County Search and Rescue Squad for 25 years. Owned and operated Rasmussen Welding in Salina.

Survived by wife, Salina; three daughters, Renee R. Anderson, Murray, Utah; Rae Dawn R. Sutherland, Cedar City; Deanna R. Thompson, Kanab; one son, Brian L. Rasmussen, Salina, Utah; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, four sisters, Bernice Mickelson, Salina; Shirley Probert, Scipio; Virginia Dickert, Salina; Donna Martin, Las Vegas, Nevada; Ray Rasmussen, Murray; Maurice Rasmussen, Salina. Funeral services, Tuesday, June 19, 12 noon, in the Salina 2nd Ward. Friends may call Monday evening 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 10:30-11:30 prior to services at the Springer Turner Mortuary in Salina. Burial, Salina Eastside Cemetery.
