DEATH: LEORA JEAN SMITH

Leora Jean Smith, 60, of Pleasant Grove, died June 15, 1990 at the American Fork Hospital of a heart ailment.

She was born November 20, 1929 in Lehi, to Hyrum J. and Berdie Mitchell Smith. She was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward. She attended schools in Lehi, later graduating from Murray High School. She worked as a edit clerk for Bank of America in Pasadena, California for 20 years. She retired in 1958, returning to Utah, where she has lived since.She is survived by four sisters, three brothers, Mrs. David (Mary) Grace, Earl Smith and Mrs. Ken (Blanche) Covington, all Lehi; Nan Nielson, Mrs. Clyde (Irene) Wilkinson, both of Pleasant Grove; Darrell Smith, Canada; Leo Smith, Orem. She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, Sadie, Coral, Jack and Ed. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. or Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial, Lehi City Cemetery.
