EASTMAN CHRISTENSEN CHIEF REPLACES RETIRED PRESIDENT

James T. Probert has been appointed president of Eastman Christensen, 1937 S. 300 West.

He succeeds Martin R. Reid, who resigned recently to pursue personal business interests.Probert joined Baker Hughes, parent company of Eastman Christensen, 18 years ago and has held a series of increasingly responsible positions in marketing and operations around the world. These included vice president of marketing for Baker Sand Control and region manager for Exlog.

Most recently, the graduate of the University of London was president of Milpark Drilling Fluids, Houston, Texas.
