U. BUSINESS SCHOOL NAMES ITS TOP SCHOLARS

The University of Utah graduate school of business and college of business has named its top scholars from the accounting, marketing, finance and management departments, for the academic year 1989-90.

Outstanding scholars awarded master's degrees are:Mary A. Sloan, professional accountancy; John A. Herbert, business administration; Kris Liacopoulos and Vivian L. Roop, human resource management; and Subramaniam K. Ramesh, finance.

Outstanding scholars awarded bachelor's degrees are:

Taylor Reed Randall, accounting; Jeffery Hans Bell, finance; Deborah Lee Peterson, management; and Scott H. Verhaaren, marketing.

Sloan is the recipient of a Peat Marwick Main Superior Chapter Scholarship and has actively participated in Women in Business and Beta Alpha Psi. She is employed by the local firm Kevin R. Huntington & Associates.
