Ruth Maxine Burgett Watson, 78, passed away June 19, 1990 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born October 18, 1911 in Orr, North Dakota to Orr H and Selena Elizabeth Mitchell Burgett. Married Brigham Marcellus Watson of Grantsville, Utah March 19, 1933 in Estevan, Saskatchawan, Canada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the 5th Ward, Temple View Stake and Ensign Ward, Ensign Stake. She served as a teacher and counselor in the Young Womens organization and as Jr. Sunday School Coordinator for many years.Survived by: Son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Burgett and Patricia Jean Watson; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann and Leon Robert Anglesey; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Florence Ninow and Lucille Gladys Van Etten. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Brig;" mother and father; two brothers, James Orr and John Silas Burgett.

Funeral services will be held Sat., June 23rd, 12 noon, in the Ensign 1st Ward Chapel (9th Ave. and `D' St). Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary (255 So. 200 E) Friday, 7-9 p.m., and at the ward, Saturday, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Grantsville City Cemetery.
