MANAGING ASSETS FOR RETIREMENT IS SUBJECT OF LECTURE

A free seminar on managing retirement assets, sponsored by the Minneapolis-based investment firm of Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood Inc., will be held June 28 at 7 p.m. in the Holladay Library, 2150 E. 4800 South.

It will be presented by Paul Smith, an investment executive with the company's Salt Lake office. He will explain how to adjust current retirement plans to meet changing needs, how to supplement Social Security with income investments and how to invest for a comfortable standard of living.Smith is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah, Weber State University and Utah State University, where he teaches continuing education courses on money management.
