Geneve Jorgensen Dalton, 93, died June 21, 1990, in Salt Lake City.

She was born December 23, 1896, in Castle Dale, to John Smith and Lena Winkler Jorgensen. She married Don Mack Dalton Dec. 28, 1917, in Castle Dale. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 6, 1979. Active member, LDS Church. Was very devoted to the gospel. Served with her husband while he was mission president in South Africa.

Spent her childhood days in Castle Dale and attended schools there. Later attended University of Utah and taught school for several years. She was involved in many civic activities in her community and country.

Survived by: A son and a daughter, George E. Dalton, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; Mrs. Stanford (Lena Geneve) Johns, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother and a sister, Floyd Jorgensen, Castle Dale; Lucille Jorgensen, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald J. Dalton.

Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 So. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m., or Monday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Lehi Cemetery.
