2 NEW YORKERS, 1 UTAHN KILLED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

A vacationing Brooklyn, N.Y., couple was killed and their traveling companion injured Friday morning in an accident in southern Utah. A Green River woman injured in an accident Wednesday also died Friday.

Ephriam Brensilber, 72, of Brooklyn, and his wife, Daisy Brensilber, 70, were killed at about 9 a.m. Friday near Goulding, San Juan County, on U-163. Terry Rubin, 69, a passenger in the Brensilber car, address unknown, was taken by helicopter to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., where she was in stable condition.The Brensilbers were traveling east on the highway when, according to a Utah Highway Patrol dispatcher, their vehicle collided broadside with a southbound vehicle driven by Raymond E. Pene, 43, of Moab. Pene was not injured.

Meanwhile, Coralee Cordova, 47, of Green River, died Friday after being injured Wednesday afternoon in a car rollover three miles west of Green River on U-6. Cordova was a passenger in a car driven by Betty Pfaff, 58, of Green River. According to a UHP dispatcher, Pfaff lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected, causing the car to roll twice. Pfaff was in critical condition following the accident.
