The Utah Museum of Natural History is offering a teacher workshop and field trip Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30, on how glaciers change the landscape.

Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., museum instructor Ren Willie will describe glacial effects in a classroom session using slides of Glacier Bay in Alaska and demonstrate how teachers can make a model glacier for their classrooms. The group will make first-hand observations the following day in Little Cottonwood Canyon.Tuition is $35, which includes field trip transportation.
